A craps table can be one of the most intimidating sights in a casino. The layout is covered with numbers, boxes, circles, lines, symbols, and betting areas that seem to have different rules. Add several players placing chips at the same time, a dealer moving wagers around the table, and a shooter rolling two dice, and the game can appear much more complicated than it actually is.
The reason a craps table looks complicated is largely because the layout is designed to accommodate many different wagers in one place.
